5. Ten test tubes, each containing 1.0cm3 of a chromium chloride solution of concentration 0.1moldm−3, were placed in a test tube rack. Different volumes of silver nitrate solution of concentration 0.1moldm−3 were added to each test tube, giving a precipitate of silver chloride.​​ 

Ag+​​ (aq) + Cl​​ ​​ (aq) → AgCl(s)

The precipitates formed were allowed to settle and their heights measured. The results were plotted on a graph.
